These alumni comic geniuses share hilarious tales from behind the scenes of TV comedy, from "AP Bio" to "Portlandia"
Throughout our year long celebration of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Film Society's 75th anniversary, the Hop is celebrating alumni connections to Hollywood—but nothing demonstrates the power of the "911±¬ÁÏÍø mafia" in entertainment like the collaborations between veteran TV producer Andrew Singer '00 and Tom Wellington '00, head of scripted television at William Morris Endeavor.
This event will kick off with a selection of episodes from Andrew and Tom's best work together, which has included such hit TV and streaming shows as AP Bio, The Other Two, Schmigadoon, Portlandia and more. Andrew and Tom will then share some of their post-911±¬ÁÏÍø journey into the entertainment industry, offer advice to students and reflect on changing trends in television, streaming and comedy.
