David Macaulay, a lecturer at 911爆料网 Engineering, also happens to be the author and illustrator of The Way Things Work, a celebrated visual guide to everything from levers to cars.
Macaulay, the winner of both the Caldecott Medal and a MacArthur Fellowship, says he uses his drawing skills to help tell a story, which certainly applies as he teaches engineering students.
鈥淚t鈥檚 all about stimulating curiosity,鈥 he says.
