The new division in a school of Arts and Sciences launches on July 1.
Every year, forms a Sugar Crew of undergraduate students during spring break to help run the maple syrup operation at the 911 Organic Farm.
During the immersion program, the students “come out to the 911 sugarbush and learn about sugaring, from the tapping of the trees all the way to the bottling of the syrup,” says program manager Jack Walker ’22.
